In recent years, payment methods have diversified with the rise of cashless transactions, with cashless adoption promoted by both the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, a the digitization of public services. The waste management industry faces labor shortages, and there is a demand for improving the efficiency of collection and transport operations using IoT and AI technologies.
